Project 365: #17

#17 2/5/12

Finally tried the Wolf & Bear's foodcart on Mississippi St. Super excellent falafel and magical house green sauce. Heated outdoor seating, with festive lights for just the right touch of ambiance.

Project 365: #15

#15 2/2/12

My pal Satya had an open house to celebrate the opening of her new counseling office. She promised delicious snacks and complementary wine, which are always hard to pass up.

#15.2 2/2/12

I helped her make the "In Session" sign above. We went to Scrap, one of the most magical places in town, in search of materials. We found some flooring samples (or maybe they were for counter tops? I can't remember.) that worked perfectly. Just the right size, with a pre-cut hole. Score. We cut out some vinyl letters with my fancy craft cutter, and presto change-o, done and done.

Just your average double decker vintage dress shop.

Me: "Whoa. Is this your dream come true?"
Shop owner: "Yep."

Too bad I can't really stand up all the way in the dressing room on the top level.

Project 365: #13

#13 1/31/12

After an intense week at work (and two all-nighters. What?!), plus winter (ugh), a home spa day was totally in order. A coconut oil concoction for my hair, bath salts, special lotions for my eyes, and a green apple peel for my face. Totally worked.

It's cold out there, being a metal bike rack totally exposed to the elements. Lucky guy, someone knit him a sweater.
