Project 365: #1

Well, after like 8 years of going back and forth, spurts of internet research, multiple pros and cons lists, and some disappointing vacation photos, I finally upgraded to a DSLR camera. (And started a blog.)

Now I gotta learn how it works. Let's see if I can take a photo every day.

I got a pile of books from the library, as is my nature. So far the most helpful have been the Photojojo creative photo projects book and an outdated National Geographic kids photography book. I love kids how-to books. They really break it down, you know?

Photo #1: wimpy branches with clingy raindrops. Around the corner from Postal Central on NE Alberta. My favorite place to send packages. Staffed by "postal ninjas."

 Lots of rain and some snow this week. Spring is always too far away.
